Maribeth Flowers, APLD, owner of Flowers' Gardens & Landscapes, is a certified landscape designer and is an active member of the landscape industry. Maribeth began her career in the horticulture industry 12 years ago. She worked for both a retail nursery and a plant grower and gained an indepth knowledge of plant material. During this time she studied horticulture and landscape design at the college level and attended a variety of specialized training courses. She also apprenticed with landscape design/build firms to gain additional hands on training. Maribeth established Flowers' Gardens & Landscapes in 2003 and uses her diverse knowledge to specifically choose outdoor elements and plants that will meet your needs and thrive in Texas. Her desire is to create unique outdoor living spaces based on a solid foundation of landscape design.
Prior to embarking on a profession in landscape design, Maribeth had a successful career for 20 years in the environmental field. She also has a degree in Environmental Policy. Maribeth has a strong knowledge of the environmental impacts resulting from human activity. She believes in the importance of incorporating the natural environment into our everyday lives. She works to incorporate environmentally sound and sustainable landscape principles into her designs while still creating beautiful spaces to relax and enjoy.
